Chakwal: At least 12 people, including women and children, were killed and 24 others injured when a passenger bus overturned near Kallar Kahar on the Islamabad-Lahore highway.
According to the Motorway Police, the passenger bus was on its way from Rawalpindi to Lahore when it met with an accident near Kallar Kahar Salt Range. According to the preliminary report, the accident occurred due to brake failure, police said.
After getting the information, police and rescue 1122 officials reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies and the injured to the hospital.
