LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to observe a holiday across the province on Friday (November 10) as it battles the deadly wave of smog, acting provincial chief minister Mohsin Naqvi said on Tuesday.

At a press conference, the interim provincial chief said the government has currently decided to keep only next Friday as a holiday.

Provincial officials considered imposing an additional weekly holiday last month, but as the situation improved, they decided against it and said they would continue to monitor the situation.
