
According to the forecast of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) for today (Thursday), the weather of Karachi is likely to be pleasant after light rain and drizzle.
The weather department is expected to remain partly cloudy in the port city ahead of the first spell of monsoon rain in the city on Friday, the Met department said.
Meanwhile, the temperature is expected to rise up to 37°C in the evening with a relative humidity of 65% in the atmosphere.
According to the latest weather update from PMD, the day is expected to be hot and humid in Karachi and there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in the outskirts during the evening and night.
Similar conditions are expected on Saturday (July 8) with more chances of rain at any time of the day.
Sindh Weather Outlook
The Meteorological Department said that the Monsoon currents are very likely to move towards East and North-West Sindh from today and gradually spread over entire Sindh.
Under its influence, rain with dust storm is very likely at isolated places including Dadu, Jamshoro, Kambar Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Larkana, Shikarpur, Tharparkar and Umerkot districts with occasional intervals from today evening till July 9.
Meanwhile, isolated heavy rain accompanied with dust storm occurred at Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur.
Naushahroo is expected in Firuz districts from July 7-9, with occasional gaps.
These spells of Monsoon rains with dust storms are expected to cover Shaheed Benazirabad, Matiyari, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Thatta, Sujawal districts and Karachi Division with occasional intervals during 7-9 July. Will affect ,
