Amid reports of him challenging Twitter CEO Elon Musk to a cage fight, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently shared an Instagram photo of his ripped body with his trainers.
In the picture, Zuckerberg is seen posing with MMA fighters Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanevsky. The tech billionaire appeared to be in good shape and was all smiles with the celebrities who visited him at his home in Lake Tahoe, California.
Although neither billionaire has officially confirmed the fight, accepting each other’s challenge has sparked social media buzz.
Adesanya shared Zuckerberg’s picture on Instagram and tagged him in the post.
“No Fugazi with Mark. This is serious business!!” he said in the caption. The Facebook CEO responded by commenting: “It’s an honor to train with you guys!”
Volkanevsky responded, calling Zuckerberg “a beast” and adding: “It’s always great to catch up.”
The photo has been viewed by nearly two million people and messages from fans praising Zuckerberg have started pouring in.
One user commented, “Button respect Mark Zuckerberg.” “Elon is going to Mars,” said another.
However, supporters of the Twitter CEO said Zuckerberg needed to work harder.
Zuckerberg’s announcement in February about “Threads” for “enhanced authenticity” and “security across services” — both jabs at Twitter Blue — is where the current discussion began, ndtv informed of.
Several such recreations exist on Twitter that feature AI-generated and morphed videos of the battle between the two tech giants.
In terms of preparation, Mark Zuckerberg, 39, has studied jiu-jitsu and is an amateur mixed martial artist. Meanwhile, 51-year-old Musk describes himself as a trainer and street fighter.
Musk was the one who initially issued the “cage match” challenge to Zuckerberg. Meta Supremo replied, “Send me the location”, to accept the challenge.
Despite so much discussion, the fight has not been confirmed yet.
