According to the Sindh Education Department, the new academic year in public and private schools across Sindh will start on April 15, 2024.

The announcement came after a meeting of the lower committee of the provincial steering committee chaired by Sindh’s acting Education Minister Rana Hussain on Monday.

Various matters discussed during the meeting included dates of commencement of the academic year and holiday schedule.

The spokesperson said that the academic year in the colleges of Sindh will start from August 1 next year.

Meanwhile, last year’s schedule for summer and winter holidays next year will be followed. A 15-day training program will be organized for teachers during summer vacation.

Spocks further said that the matriculation and intermediate examinations will be started from the last week of May 2024, while the results will be declared on July 31 and second week of August respectively.

Educational institutions closed in smog affected Punjab areas
