Pakistan has slammed Israel for carrying out raids and airstrikes in the occupied Palestinian territory city of Jenin, which killed at least 10 people and injured dozens.

Pakistan reaffirmed its strong and unwavering support for the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people for the full realization of their rights and freedoms – including the right to self-determination.
“We reiterate our call for a viable, independent and contiguous Palestinian state with pre-1967 borders and al-Quds al-Sharif as its capital, in accordance with relevant UN and OIC resolutions,” the statement said.
The Jenin raid, launched early Monday under the hard-right government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has involved hundreds of soldiers as well as drone strikes and army bulldozers that have pounded roads and crushed cars.
