Saudi Arabia announces hundreds of fully funded scholarships for Pakistani students

Scholarships are offered for various programs including Diploma, Undergraduate, Master and PhD in 25 top universities of the state.

ISLAMABAD: The Saudi Arabian government has announced 700 fully funded scholarships for Pakistani students to study in the top 25 universities of the kingdom.

According to a notification issued by the Riyadh Embassy, ​​scholarships were offered to Pakistani students for diploma, bachelor’s, master’s and PhD in 25 leading universities of the kingdom.

“Earlier the number of scholarships was 600, which has now been increased to 700,” the statement said. Students residing in Pakistan and legal residents in the Kingdom can apply for these scholarships through the university’s integrated online website.

It is pertinent to mention here that 75% of the scholarships will be awarded to students from Pakistan, while 25% of the scholarships will be awarded to Pakistani students residing in the state.

Higher Education Commission has asked all the Principals and Educational Heads to announce and disseminate the scholarship details among the senior students (XI-XII/OA level) of their respective schools.
