Rawalpindi: Security forces have killed six terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Sambaja area of ​​Zhob district of Balochistan, the army’s media wing said on Wednesday.

The operation took place on the night of October 31 and November 1, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

ISPR said, during the operation, there was an intense exchange of fire between its own troops and terrorists, resulting in six “terrorists being sent to hell”.

“A cache of arms, ammunition and explosives have also been recovered,” it said.

The army’s media wing said the slain terrorists were actively involved in several terrorist activities against security forces and killing of innocent civilians.

It added that a clean-up operation was being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
