London/Islamabad: An Islamabad court has granted bail to TikTok star and influencer Sandal Khattak in the Harim Shah video leak case.

tiktok star – whose real name is Sandal Shamim – appeared before Judge Azam Khan of the Electronic Crime Prevention Court.
Sandal’s lawyer, Barrister Musaddaq Barki, said that his client has not received any notice from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) after a case was registered against him by his former friend Harim Shah – whose real name is Fiza Hussain.
Sandal’s counsel said, the FIR was completely one-sided and no investigation was done in the FIR.
He said, “No evidence found sandal’s Mobile and no such evidence was found during investigation. According to Tiktok’s rules, no unethical video can be uploaded in Tiktok.
Whoever made this video had Harim Shah’s consent in it and she herself was laughing in the video. Sandal Khattak has no role in this and neither did he make the video nor made it viral.
The judge noted that the FIA notice was not sent to Sandal.
“He is no longer required for investigation by the FIA. Keeping the accused behind bars will not help. The forensic report is still awaited,” the judge said, adding that the alleged offender is entitled to post-arrest bail.
The FIA arrested Sandal on June 12 in a case related to the video leak of fellow TikToker Harem Shah. Special Judge Central Islamabad heard the case filed by Shah, during which he and the suspect, Sandal, appeared in the court along with their lawyers.
TikToker had told the court, “The harem is blackmailing me through obscene pictures.”
Meanwhile, Shah showed the said video and photographs in the court room.
Arguing before the court, the prosecutor said that the videos on Tiktok were not posted for the freedom of Kashmir; Everyone knows about the videos that TikTokers make.
After hearing the arguments, Special Judge Central Azam Khan rejected Sandal’s bail application, resulting in his arrest.
