
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday gifted Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman the country’s first indigenous electric car – the Tog.
The Turkish President arrived in the kingdom on the first leg of his three-nation Gulf tour aimed at strengthening regional and trade ties.
During his visit to the Al-Salam Royal Palace in Jeddah, President Erdogan and the Saudi Crown Prince held further inter-delegation meetings one-on-one, Turkey’s state-run agency Anadolu Ajanci informed of.
After the talks, Erdogan presented the Pamukkale white toga to the Saudi Crown Prince. Both the leaders examined the vehicle in the courtyard of the palace.
In a video released by the agency, both the leaders can be seen standing next to the EV. Meanwhile, SMB goes to the driver’s side and sits down, while Erdogan sits in the passenger seat.
The crown prince left in a car to drop the Turkish President to his hotel.
