ISLAMABAD: Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry was “arrested” from his residence in Islamabad on Saturday and “taken to an unknown location”.
The development was confirmed by his wife Hiba Fawad Chaudhary, who said her husband was arrested by police and plainclothes men.
Hiba said in the conversation, “We were not told why Fawad was being arrested.” geo news,
Chaudhary’s wife had also written about her husband’s arrest on Twitter earlier.
“Fawad has been arrested and taken to an unknown location,” he wrote in his post.
